An exciting role for a permanent Service Delivery Manager to join a well known Australian brand and deliver exceptional customer engagement model in a newly created role. The role will focus on creating a customer and client relationship between the IT team and an internal department which you will account manage and ensure they are informed of all decisions the IT team are making which may affect their work, and handle any issues which may arise.

Reporting directly to Manager of Business Engagement you will have considerable experience in a IT focused service delivery role and experience of building lasting relationships that can be relied on to help bolster the IT teams reputation across the business.

The primary focus of the role is to deliver a strong customer engagement model as well as establishing a transparent line of communication with various departments and stores all of which have varying levels of IT skills and knowledge. Service Now has recently been implemented into the organisation and you will look at how to best utilise the service management tool. 

Functional responsibilities  
  • Manage stakeholders across your assigned department and engage with the department to define the new work.
  • Provide a single point of contact for departments for relationships, escalations and act as the department advocate for small projects and non-standard change requests.
  • Support and assist departments with their operational requirements and queries through site visits and phone contact with a view to retention and growth, and delivering all services within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Build the brand of the IT team within the organisation.
  • Co-ordinate responses to Business Managers relating to RFIs/RFPs etc where IT input is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
  • ITIL certification and a background in a technical Service Delivery role
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in an IT focused customer service environment, preferably in a similar service delivery role.
  • Strong relationship management skills and demonstrated business acumen.
  • Provide superior analytical skills in solving resource conflicts and problems as they relate to service delivery to the customer base.
  • Ability to work under limited direction and in a professional manner.
  • Extensive customer, vendor and stakeholder management experience.
