nVision Talent recently attended the Salesforce world tour in Melbourne. It was great to catch up with some old faces, both friends and clients and make some new ones. It is such an exciting time to be a part of the business and it was great to chat with salesforce partners, end user managers and ISV partners and find out the amazing things they are doing to help their customers. There are some amazing solutions out there that can really help drive the use of the platform for different business requirements.

Our tour started on the Monday night before the main event down at the Boatbuilders Yard outside the convention centre. nVision Talent teamed up with Capital-e, Morphate and Parvero for the (now infamous!) CloudCrowd pre-drinks event. We had a fantastic night where we had some great conversations with the likes of Financial Force, Stantive, Mapanything, Infosys, PwC, Accenture, System Partners and many others. It was a great platform to discuss the market, provide insights and discuss the future of our ecosystem.

On Tuesday we had the main event. More than 7500 registered for the world tour, about a 30% increase form last year I have been told! The event was chock full of information and content, from the keynotes around gender diversity and the future of innovation, to a host of breakout sessions on better ways to use apps, best practices around marketing, how to engage with customers and introductions to the new salesforce cloud offerings. There was a lot to learn from the salesforce partners and ISVs that had stands set up as well as the opportunity to actively win trailhead badges (of which 3 of our team did) and win yourself an Astro toy. The Marketing Cloud section even had a full size swimming pool set up however I didn’t see anyone brave enough to take the plunge! Of course there is the obligatory photo opp with Sassy and Chatty.

In the evening we topped it off with after drinks down at the General Assembly, thank you to Accenture for putting on such a great event as always.

Now that the dust has settled from another amazing tour its back to work helping our fantastic clients grow their businesses and working with Salesforce professionals to help find their next dream job. nVision has never been busier, it’s a great time to get in touch for a chat!
